The other factor this misses out in the anmated GIF creation is where a pixel or group of pixels remain unchanged across multiple frames only the first frame in that sequence needs the initial pixels data to be included and subsiquently identical pixels in that area should be encoded as a common transparent colour value so is highly compressible. It could be one of several methods, some providing better visual approxmation of the orignal video stream at the expense of GIF LZW compression levels or optimised custom palette with no dithering that is often not as visually similar to original but is far more LZW compressible. It's a simple enough program to use but has a few significant limitations (in my opinion) first significant limitation is not being able to specify the palette algorithm used when rendering prior to GIF frame generation. SO installing and registering this version invalidates previous verisions registered status.
Have a couple of earlier versions of this giveaway and can confirm that the license is non-expiring but the new versions reg data overwrites the earlier versions reg data and is not compatible with the older giveaways even though it permits side by side installation into a uniquely named program files folde rand start menu folder.
