


Start by making sure that you have all of the necessary items such as a jack, spare tire, lug wrench and screwdriver. Finally lower vehicle off of jackstands and check for leaks before hitting road again!įixing a flat tire can be an intimidating task for many drivers, but it doesn’t have to be! With the right tools and a little knowledge of how the process works, you can get your car back on the road quickly. Once mounted back onto the car, fill up to recommended pressure level and tighten lug nuts back into place. Remove old tire and replace it with new one, making sure that there are no foreign objects present inside of it. Then take out any remaining air in the tire using an air compressor or pump. Start by loosening the lug nuts on the wheel with a wrench and jacking up the car to remove the wheel from the axle.
